The Funeral Ministry plays a vital role in helping those at a time when they need it most. The Ministry’s goal is to provide a funeral luncheon for families and friends of the departed. There are a few ways in which you can participate.
You can either:
- Join a team and prepare and donate a dish to be served at a funeral luncheon.
- Volunteer to either help with set up and take down of tables and chairs.
- Volunteer to work a luncheon with other team members. You may be asked to do this once every 3 or 4 months.
In our Parish, the Funeral Ministry’s goal is to help those who have given so generously for years of their time and talent to Sacred Heart Church. At a difficult time, they need our help. I ask you to consider joining us so that this Ministry carries on with a vibrant and blessed membership.
